for everyone
Remember the days when all you had to worry about was whether or not you will get something good for your birthday? I really miss those days. Seems like human beings never really get contented: they always long for the things they could not have. Even at such a young age, who hasn't experienced longing for something unattainable? Back then, it was an expensive toy. A dream Disneyland vacation. And yeah, who hasn't made a wish that he or she is all grown up and there's no one to tell him or her what to do.

And now that I am basically an adult, and no one tells me what to do (well, my mom still does but I can choose not to obey her and not get palo. Hehe), there might be nothing else I would want more than to let other people take charge of my life. To be fed, and let other people worry about the money. To have decisions made for you. To be sheltered from all possible pain. Being an adult is not all it's cracked up to be.

You have to worry about clothes and food and hairstyles. You have to worry about work, and dreams and ambitions. You have to worry about the future. Suddenly, the era in which I can only see as far as tomorrow where future is concerned seemed like such a sweet memory. Nothing like the harsh reality of the "real life" in the "real world" can give you proper perspective--it's like opening your eyes after a dream, and what you found made you want to go back to your dream's sweet oblivion.

Suddenly, the simplest dreams seem so complicated. Weird isn't it, that the simplest dreams are the ones so hard to get?

I agree. However, even if it's SO HARD to get, it doesn't mean it's unattainable. Everything will fall into its place, all in the right time. :)
